Bill Blass, who helped make inflatable tanks to fool the Germans on D-Day, was called in to put his name on a special designer edition of the 1977-79 Lincoln Continental Mark V, The nautical-themed 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Bill Blass Designer Edition was only produced for one week, from June 4-8, 1979.
The '79 Bill Blass Edition Mark V came with two-tone paint (Midnight Blue Moondust Metallic and white) and a white carriage roof that looked sort of convertible-like if you squinted.
