Responsibilities:

Remove all trash from resident's rooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, offices and storage rooms twice per day and place in designated refusal area daily.
Sweep and mop all resident's rooms, offices, storage rooms, closets, resident's dining rooms and corridors daily.
Clean and maintain all corners, edges and baseboards.
Clean and maintain all bathrooms.
Clean and maintain all vents.
Spray buff all resident's, non-resident rooms and corridors as per schedule.
Maintain all window and cubical curtains to assure that they are hanging properly.
Clean resident dining room after each meal and or as needed.
Clean sinks, toilets and furniture as needed.
Remove and replace any soiled window and cubicle curtains to be laundered.
Move all furniture in room when sweeping and mopping (chairs, trash cans, equipment and behind doors).
Move and clean behind all large furniture, including but not limited to night stands, dressers, and beds).
Clean and maintain walls in corridor as needed.
Assist in window washing if needed.
Assist in stripping and refinishing if needed.
Maintain and scrub bathroom floors as needed.
Clean and maintain inside and outside of all trash and linen containers in storage rooms and corridors.
Clean and maintain all trashcans in resident's rooms and offices.
All equipment and supplies should be cleaned and placed in appropriate place after being used.
Any broken or damaged equipment should be replaced immediately.
All work area and janitors closet should be kept clean, neat and safe for all staff and residents.
Floor signs should always be used when mopping or in a potentially unsafe situation, and properly stored after use.
All employees must be in proper uniform and wearing I.
D.
badges at all times during their work shift.
May be required to perform other duties as directed by Supervisor and assist in other areas of the department.

Does not abuse or take advantage of sick time or personal days.
Consistently report to work on time and ready to work at the start of the shift.
Always provide proper notification when late or absent.
Demonstrate reliability when on-call.
Available to work overtime when necessary.
Demonstrate the ability to recognize priorities in organization of workflow.
Able to perform duties independently, with minimal need for direct supervision.
Demonstrate willingness to take additional responsibilities when they can be assumed without adversely affecting quality or quantity of work.
Demonstrate the ability to interact in a positive and helpful manner with residents, visitors, physicians, volunteers and co-workers.
Reflect commitment to building a supportive work environment and maintain a positive attitude at the work place and toward their job.
Must be willing to rotate job schedules of similar activities at intervals as assigned.
Ability to stand, walk in limited areas, stoop turn, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull and move furniture and equipment for cleaning, dusting and scrubbing.
Lift and carry cleaning equipment.
Must know how to use common house cleaning devices such as brooms, mops, floor buffers and polishers and scouring pads to keep assigned areas clean and well serviced.
Care of cleaning equipment adherence to all sanitary regulations:
use all supplies and equipment in a safe manner, with realization that errors and incompetence may have a serious consequence for the residents.
Participate in facility in-service programs SPECIAL DEMANDS:
Must have willingness to perform routine, repetitive task on a continuous basis, and perform tasks despite frequent interruptions.
Ability to perform tasks due to consideration for residents in the facility, ability to use initiative and judgment involved in maintaining assigned areas in a clean and orderly conditions.
Work under supervision of the Director of Housekeeping or Housekeeping Supervisor.
All Housekeeping staff must posses the ability to work and cooperate with other employees.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
